It functions similarly as the NanoDrop UV\/VIS, detecting DNA concentrations as low as 1ng\/ul, but with the capability to identify as many as 16 samples simultaneously using the NanoQuant quartz plate (provided). This plate reader is capable of monitoring UV and visible absorbencies, fluorescence, and luminescence. It is also extremely flexible and can measure samples held in the 96, 384, 1536 and other formats.
