The Rod Hochman Family Clinical Skills & Simulation Center at Boston University\u2019s Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine is a cutting-edge educational facility designed to prepare students for real-world clinical practice. Located on the sixth floor of the Instructional Building, the 13,500-square-foot center features advanced simulation environments, including four emergency\/hospital rooms, thirteen standardized patient exam rooms, and thirteen clinical skills labs. It was funded by a generous gift from BU alumni Rod Hochman (CAS ’79, CAMED ’79)<\/span> and Nancy Hochman (Sargent \u201977, \u201983). T<\/span>he center supports MD, physician assistant, mental health, and genetic counseling students in developing essential skills such as physical diagnosis, communication, and team-based care. With high-fidelity manikins and ultrasound devices, amongst other high and low fidelity equipment, the center fosters immersive, hands-on learning that bridges the gap between classroom education and clinical experience<\/p>\n
