The\u00a0Cellular Imaging Core<\/strong> (CIC) is an optical microscopy core facility with a range of digital imaging microscopy systems for studying cells and tissues.\u00a0 CIC offers a range of wide-field and confocal microscope imaging systems.\u00a0 In addition to equipment, we also offer help in choosing the appropriate fluorescent indicators and constructs, as well as assistance in image processing and analysis.<\/p>\n

How to Schedule<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Please login to\u00a0<\/span>iLab\u00a0<\/span><\/a>system to schedule equipment time or services. For new users please follow the steps outlined in\u00a0<\/span>Information for New Users<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Data Analysis and Storage<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Core also offers state-of-the-art image processing and analysis capabilities, including five custom-built workstations housed within the Core space. Storage for images is provided to Core users on a BU redundant-node, high-availability server. The Core also maintains several licenses for Molecular Devices Meta Imaging Series software, Nikon NIS-Elements, Zeiss Zen, and Leica AF for offline use, and offers assistance with NIH ImageJ as well. Use of the image analysis facility and software is provided free of charge.<\/p>\n
