The curriculum integrates interactive didactic sessions to enhance students\u2019 knowledge of surgical diseases, supplemented by hands-on instruction in surgical techniques such as instrument handling, suturing, and knot tying. Students actively participate in patient care under supervision, fostering the development of clinical skills and the ability to function effectively within multidisciplinary teams. The clerkship emphasizes refining physical examination skills specific to surgical patients and cultivating concise case presentation abilities.
