Through strategic partnerships, targeted outreach, and meaningful engagement, the program provides education, exposure, and pathways to opportunities that empower students from underrepresented communities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ACCESS Granted is a three-pronged program creating a comprehensive STEMM career development approach. We aim to cultivate equity, inspire innovation, and ensure sustainable access to professional growth within STEMM fields.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Three-Pronged Program Structure<\/b><\/h3>\n<h4><b>Prong 1: High School Visits &amp; Student Panels<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><b>Objective<\/b><b>:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> To inspire and inform high school students about careers in STEMM and the pathways to achieving them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Features:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On-campus tours showcase labs, innovation spaces, and STEMM career possibilities.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Student panels featuring Boston University CAMED students and professionals sharing their experiences.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Q&amp;A sessions to demystify the journey to STEMM careers.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><b>Prong 2: Community College and Continuing Education Outreach<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><b>Objective<\/b><b>: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To expand the program\u2019s reach to students in community colleges and continuing education programs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Features:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Collaboration with community college advisors to create tailored programming.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Workshops on career pathways, transfer opportunities, and STEMM-specific internships.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Panels featuring professionals and BU Med students sharing industry insights and educational opportunities.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><b>Prong 3: Information Sharing and Volunteer Opportunities<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><b>Objective<\/b><b>:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> To create a bridge between STEMM education and practical experience.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Features:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Internship and research opportunities at the BU Medical Campus and partnering institutions.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Resources for continuing education programs, certifications, and advanced degrees in STEMM.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Volunteer opportunities for BU Med students to engage in mentoring, panel discussions, and community outreach.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-start=\"2234\" data-end=\"2266\"><strong data-start=\"2238\" data-end=\"2266\">How You Can Get Involved<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2268\" data-end=\"2297\"><strong data-start=\"2268\" data-end=\"2297\">For Students &amp; Schools<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2298\" data-end=\"2463\">\n<li data-start=\"2298\" data-end=\"2375\">\n<p data-start=\"2300\" data-end=\"2375\">Join us for on-campus experiences, panel discussions, and career workshops.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2376\" data-end=\"2463\">\n<p data-start=\"2378\" data-end=\"2463\">Discover internship and continuing education resources that support your STEMM goals.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2465\" data-end=\"2509\"><strong data-start=\"2465\" data-end=\"2509\">For Educators &amp; Community Partners<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2510\" data-end=\"2615\">\n<li data-start=\"2510\" data-end=\"2615\">\n<p data-start=\"2512\" data-end=\"2615\">Connect with our team to schedule a visit, build a partnership, or bring ACCESS Granted to your school.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2617\" data-end=\"2652\"><strong data-start=\"2617\" data-end=\"2652\">For BU Med Campus Volunteers<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2653\" data-end=\"2738\">\n<li data-start=\"2653\" data-end=\"2738\">\n<p data-start=\"2655\" data-end=\"2738\">Inspire the next generation by participating as a panelist, mentor, or facilitator.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\"><strong>Interested in scheduling a visit?
