Pre-Orientation Requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The below requirements must be completed by all First-Year Students by Monday, Aug. 4, 2025<\/span><\/strong><\/em>\u00a0(unless otherwise stated):<\/p>\n

  1. Review and submit the Medical Student Policy Disclosures<\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/li>\n
  2. <\/span>Submit Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine Photo Release<\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Per Student Health Services, your clinical immunizations must be up-to-date by Monday, Aug. 4, 2025.\u00a0 To check compliance and upload records, Go To Patient Connect.<\/span><\/a> Your medical immunization compliance status can be reviewed within the Medical Clearances tab in Patient Connect.\n

    1. If you are not up-to-date, you must bring yourself into compliance, either through Student Health Services (SHS), or your own physician. If you have any immunizations outside of Student Health Services, you must provide documentation to SHS through their Patient Connect.<\/li>\n
    2. First Year TB on-line questionnaire:\u00a0 Login to Patient Connect<\/a><\/span>\u00a0 and go to “Medical Clearances”.<\/li>\n
    3. You will be required to get a Flu Shot and COVID-19 booster in the fall of 2025.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    4. As clinical students, you are required to be in compliance with workplace trainings through Boston Medical Center through the Workday portal.\u00a0 Instructions to access your Workday Account\u00a0 and complete onboarding will be emailed to you directly in July<\/strong>.\u00a0 At that time, you must complete the following trainings:\n

      2. BMC Safety & Infection Prevention<\/em><\/li>\n
      3. Emergency Management What You Need to Know<\/em><\/li>\n
      4. BMC TB Attestation<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
