Mission: The mission of the BUSM Bioethics Society is to first and foremost, expose medical students to a basic understanding of ethics as it applies to medicine, helping medical students develop a framework through which to evaluate and analyze ethical issues; second, to encourage discussion around the ethical, legal, and social implications (ELSI) of medicine and scientific innovation; and third, to showcase the career opportunities available in the diverse, interdisciplinary landscape of bioethics.
