Sunali Shah, MD, Named Distinguished Faculty of the Month for September

The Faculty Affairs Office is pleased to announce that Assistant Professor of Neurology Sunali Shah, MD, has been named Distinguished Faculty of the Month for September.

An alumna from the MD Class of 2016, Shah completed her internship in internal medicine and residency in neurology at Boston Medical Center and a fellowship in pain medicine at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. She received the 2020 Resident Educator of the Year award and was appointed associate director of the neurology residency program in 2022.

Her nominators said, “Dr. Shah is an active advisor in the neurology student interest group and always is a student favorite. She mentors fourth-year medical students applying for neurology residencies by reviewing their personal statements and conducting mock interviews.

“Dr. Shah exemplifies a person committed to our mission.

“She is kind, approachable and very wise!”
