Georgia D. Montouris, MD, is a Clinical Professor of Neurology at the Boston University School of Medicine. She has held this position since 2009, when she was promoted from Assistant Professor. Dr. Montouris is also the Co-Director of Epilepsy Services of the Comprehensive Epilepsy Care Program for Children and Adults at Boston Medical Center. She has a long history as an instructor, starting at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in the Department of Neurology after she completed her residency there. In the field of neurology her specialty is epileptic research, specifically regarding the treatment of refractory epilepsy, investigational drug trials, and quality of life issues in patients with epilepsy
