Professional Interests: Gallbladder disease, Groin/Abdominal wall hernias, Diverticular disease, Soft tissue massses, Chest wall reconstruction after trauma, Acute lung injury / ARDS, Improving Surgical ICU quality/outcome measures, Postoperative adhesion prevention, Trauma Education dissemination (ATLS Course Instructor, ATOM, ASSET Course Instructor & Director).

Research Interests: Surgical residency training, Outcomes after emergency surgery, Injury-related outcomes, Gallbladder disease, Abdominal wall hernias, Diverticular disease, Chest wall reconstruction after trauma, Acute lung injury / ARDS, Improving Surgical ICU quality/outcome measures, Postoperative adhesion prevention.

Research Expertise: Proficient in a wide variety of basic science small animal skills & wet lab techniques. Proficient in database maintenance and statistical analysis, including regression, longitudinal, time-to-event (survival) analysis, and meta-analysis.
