Since becoming a family medicine physician, I have enjoyed building relationships with my patients and their families. I have been lucky enough to provide care to multiple generations of my patient families’, from newborns to elder adults, and I hope to continue that work while at Kaiser Permanente San Jose.
I have come to realize that our ability to be well is affected not only by our physical health, but by our emotional health, our work and our relationships. Because of this, it is important to me to listen to my patients, so that together we can create a wellness plan that makes sense for them, their family, and their lives.
I chose to join the Kaiser Permanente family medicine team in San Jose because of their passion and commitment to providing excellent care for their patients. I wanted to be part of a group of physicians that values team work, provides evidence-based medical care, and advocates for their patient’s and their families.
I have a particular interest in providing bilingual care, in both Spanish and English, as well as in women’s health and pediatric care. I also enjoy healthcare quality-improvement projects and training future family medicine physicians.
