On October 18, 2017 parents, nurses, pediatricians, family physicians, optometrists, ophthalmologists, orthoptists, opticians, educators, public health professionals and others from organizations across Massachusetts joined to advocate for legislation to support a statewide comprehensive children’s vision health program — H3224 an act to establish a children’s vision registry and special commission on childhood vision and eye health.
