The poster is entitled; \u201cNeisseria gonorroheae modulates immune cell survival through pyroptosis.\u201d Authors are Jessica Ritter, Kathleen Goodmon, and Caroline Genco.<\/li>\n<li><b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Evan Chiswick, PhD, Remick Lab <\/span><\/b>\u00a0was selected to give a talk at this year&#8217;s Society of Leukocyte Biology &amp; The International Endotoxin and Innate Immunity Society, October 23<sup>rd<\/sup>-25<sup>th<\/sup> in Salt Lake City, Utah.\u00a0 also received a travel award. The title of his talk was \u201cAcute Phase Deaths from Polymicrobial Sepsis are Characterized by Suppression, but Not Exhaustion, of Innate Immunity&#8221; Evan also received a Travel Award, bravo!<\/li>\n<li><b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Daniel Remick, M.D.,<\/span><\/b> served as the program chair for the 2014 joint meeting of the Society for Leukocyte Biology and the International Endotoxin and Innate Immunity Society.
