This appointment will allow the department of pathology to provide direct input into the formulation of test questions and will ensure that our Dental students receive instruction tailored to their specific needs. As best as we can determine, this is the first time a Boston University pathologist has been appointed to this national body.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Congratulations to Jacqueline Bouchard, PhD, <\/strong>who successfully defended her thesis \u201cImmunological Mechanisms of Alcohol-Exacerbated Asthma\u201d on Wednesday, April 4th<\/li>\n<li><strong>Zach Hunter, PhD Candidate<\/strong> presented his work at the Dana-Farber Hematologic Neoplasia &amp; Immunologic Therapies Seminar Series; &#8220;Somatic Variants Revealed by Whole Genome Sequencing in Waldenstrom&#8217;s Macroglobulinemia&#8221; on Wednesday, April 4th<\/li>\n<li><strong>Zach Hunter, PhD Candidate <\/strong>also presented a poster at the American Society of Clinical Oncology in Chicago on June 4th, and he is its first author; \u201cUse of Whole Genome Sequencing to Identify Highly Recurrent Somatic Mutations in Waldenstr\u00f6m\u2019s Macroglobulinemia\u201d Zachary R Hunter, Lian Xu, Guang Yang, Yangsheng Zhou, Xia Liu, Yang Cao, Christina Tripsas, Robert J Manning, Christopher J Patterson, Patricia S Sheehy, Steven P.
