{"id":1805,"date":"2010-10-01T11:43:56","date_gmt":"2010-10-01T15:43:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/busm-pathology\/?p=1805"},"modified":"2014-08-03T23:11:16","modified_gmt":"2014-08-04T03:11:16","slug":"october-2010","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/busm-pathology\/2010\/10\/01\/october-2010\/","title":{"rendered":"October 2010"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Pathology &amp; Laboratory Medicine News Items<\/h2>\n<h3>Announcements:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Carmen Sarita-Reyes, MD<\/strong> and<strong> Nancy Miller, MD<\/strong> have been appointed to the BUSM Admission Committee as Representatives from the Department of Pathology for the Cancer Care Committee.<\/li>\n<li>The Clinical Chemistry section has nearly completed its validation of the new Chemistry and Immunochemistry analyzers.\u00a0 The completion of validation studies represents a major step forward in building the new laboratory on the 7th floor of 670 Albany building.\u00a0 As part of the process the Clinical Chemistry section will be conducting a Reference Range Study in January.\u00a0 Volunteers are needed.\u00a0 If interested, please contact <a href=\"mailto:evrim.erdogan@bmc.org\">Drs.
