The authors discovered an unexpected role of the component of the histone acetyl trasferase complex, JADE1, in cytokinesis &#8211; which is the least described but the most crucial phase of the epithelial cell cycle progression. The study defined JADE1 protein as novel factor of tissue regeneration and a potential player in cancer pathogenesis<em>. <\/em>By the choice of the Editor-in-Chief this study will be featured in the \u201cNews &amp; Views\u201d of the Journal; \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.tandfonline.com\/doi\/abs\/10.1080\/15384101.2015.1068476?url_ver=Z39.88-2003&amp;rfr_id=ori%3Arid%3Acrossref.org&amp;rfr_dat=cr_pub%3Dpubmed&amp;#.VcIa8_lVhHw\">The novel function of JADE1 in cytokinesis of epithelial cells<\/a>\u201d by <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">N.S. Siriwardana<\/span><\/strong>, <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">R.D. Meyer<\/span><\/strong>, and <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">M.V. Panchenko<\/span><\/strong> \u00a0<em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmed\/26151225\">http:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmed\/26151225<\/a><\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"> David Sherr <\/span><\/strong>and his team just had a R01 score in the 1 percentile. The is the grant, with George Murphy co-PI, which is focused on manipulating AHR activity in differentiating iPSC and resulting in production of unlimited numbers of human red blood cells<\/li>\n<li>After a long and distinguished career, <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"> Tom Christensen<\/span><\/strong> has retired!
