The second activity will be attendance at the weekly research seminar series in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. The students will provide a written evaluation of four of the research seminars.<br \/>\nEach lecture and discussion portion will have the following learning objectives:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Identify the important biologic process examined by these studies<\/li>\n<li>Describe how the current studies enhance understanding of the biological principle<\/li>\n<li>Identify the translational opportunities for the studies<\/li>\n<li>Explain the major techniques used to study this process<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Exams:\u00a0 There will be a midterm and a final exam.
