Chobanian &amp; Edward Avedisian School of Medicine<\/span> faculty at all academic ranks to improve the effectiveness of their CVs, and to strategize for career advancement and promotion. Faculty may meet with Emelia Benjamin (Assistant Provost, Faculty Development, <span>Boston University Aram V. Chobanian &amp; Edward Avedisian School of Medicine<\/span> ) throughout the year on a first-come-first serve basis. Seminars focus on leadership, education, research, quality improvement, wellness, diversity and academic promotion. Seminars are offered from 12-1pm on different days of the week through the year for CME credit. <strong>For more information on our seminars,\u00a0see our<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/facdev-medicine\/all-bumc\/faculty-development-diversity-seminar-series\/\"> schedule here<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>External Faculty Development Resources<\/strong><\/h4>\n<hr \/>\n<div class=\"bu_collapsible_container \" aria-live=\"polite\" data-customize-animation=\"false\"><h4 class=\"bu_collapsible\" aria-expanded=\"false\"tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\"><span>National Center for Faculty Development &amp; Diversity <\/span><\/h4><div class=\"bu_collapsible_section\" style=\"display: none;\"><\/p>\n<p>Boston University has joined the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/faculty\/resources\/ncfdd\/\">National Center for Faculty Development &amp; Diversity (NCFDD<\/a>) as an Institutional Member for a pilot year, beginning August 30, 2018. The NCFDD is a nationally-recognized, independent organization that provides online career development and mentoring resources for faculty, post-docs, and graduate students.\u00a0Our institutional membership will provide access for<span>\u00a0<\/span><em>all<\/em><span>\u00a0<\/span>Boston University faculty, postdoctoral scholars, and graduate students to utilize NCFDD\u2019s broad range of online virtual programs and resources.<span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Boston University Medical Group\u00a0is committed to the professional well-being and development of its members.
