Excellence in Health Equity Award<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Given to a clinician who has worked to eliminate inequities in healthcare and continues to develop innovative solutions to bridge gaps in health equity<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/bumg\/advanced-practice-provider-excellence-award\/\" style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Advanced Practice Provider Excellence Award<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Given to\u00a0an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) who demonstrates excellence in collaboration and has made noteworthy contributions to promote patient wellness.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/bumg\/awards\/new-faculty-excellence-award\/\" style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>New Faculty Excellence Award<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/span><\/h5>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Given to a new clinician who demonstrates clinical excellence and has made exceptional contributions to the clinical mission of the organization during his\/her first three years of service.<span style=\"color: #ab0c26;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/bumg\/awards\/excellence-in-care-award\/\" style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong><u>Excellence in Care Award <\/u><\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/h5>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Given to an early or mid-career clinician who demonstrates clinical excellence and is an exceptional role model for applying the BUMG core values in his\/her clinical work.<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/bumg\/awards\/excellence-in-leadership-award\/\" style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong><u>Excellence in Leadership Award <\/u><\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/h5>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Given to a clinician who demonstrates exceptional clinical leadership, embodies the BUMG core values, and has made noteworthy contributions to enhancing clinical infrastructure and\/or supporting excellence in patient care.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Selection Process:<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">BUMG Engagement Committee representative will contact references provided for additional support and may contact nominee\u2019s Chair or Section Chief to confirm their support.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Sub-committees will convene in early summer to select finalists.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Sub-committee reserves the right not to select a recipient or to select multiple recipients.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Award recipients will be notified in advance and recognized at the BUMG Clinical Excellence Awards ceremony in the fall.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Recipients will become members of\u00a0the\u00a0BUMG Clinical Excellence Society.
