{"id":20,"date":"2007-01-22T10:50:40","date_gmt":"2007-01-22T14:50:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/bumc-emc\/file-conversion-services\/"},"modified":"2007-01-22T10:50:40","modified_gmt":"2007-01-22T14:50:40","slug":"file-conversion-services","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/bumc-emc\/file-conversion-services\/","title":{"rendered":"File Conversion Services"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p>In conjunction with the PBMS Document Center, EMC is providing file conversion services, including conversion of your native files to PostScript (*.ps, *.prn) and PDF (*.pdf).<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>E-mail your native files to <a href=\"mailto:emc_services_bumc@bu.edu?subject=File%20conversion\">emc_services_bumc@bu.edu<\/a><br \/>\nor bring them to our office on a CD, floppy, zip or jaz disk.<br \/>\n<em>(Make sure to include all supporting files such as any image files and fonts.)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>EMC will convert your file to PostScript and PDF.<\/li>\n<li>EMC will email you both, the PostScript and PDF files, within 24 hours. (The PDF file will be your proof of the PostScript file).<\/li>\n<li>You can then submit the appropriate file to PBMS.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><\/p>\n<h4>Summary<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"mailto:emc_services_bumc@bu.edu?subject=File%20conversion\">emc_services_bumc@bu.edu<\/a><\/li>\n<li>24 hour turnaround<\/li>\n<li>$15 for standard file conversion (native file &gt; PostScipt &gt; PDF)<\/li>\n<li>Native files we accept include (Windows and Mac-based):\n<ul>\n<li>Microsoft Office\n<ul>\n<li>PowerPoint<\/li>\n<li>Word<\/li>\n<li>Excel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Web pages (HTML)<\/li>\n<li>Adobe PageMaker<\/li>\n<li>Adobe Photoshop<\/li>\n<li>Adobe InDesign<\/li>\n<li>Macromedia FreeHand<\/li>\n<li>Image Files\n<ul>\n<li>JPEG, GIF, TIFF, EPS, BMP, PICT, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>All supporting files must be supplied.
