Alejandro has joined the Andrew Emili Laboratory in May 2020, just right after he completed his rotations in the Biology-Neurobiology PhD program. He is currently developing genetic tools to identify protein interactions and how these can be affected in neurodegenerative disorders. He is performing this project in collaboration with Dr. Benjamin Wolozin and Dr. Peter Ash. Additionally, he is interested in developing brain organoids and how these can be affected by COVID-19.
