From 2018-2020, I interned at Yale University School of Medicine, where I was afforded the opportunity to join the lab of Dr. W. Mark Saltzman to study the biodistribution of PLGA nanoparticles in a mouse model. Later, I researched in Dr. Peter Glazer’s lab utilizing PNA\/DNA-loaded nanoparticles to correct Sickle Cell Disease.
