Often this is demonstrated by a good undergraduate record in the sciences. Most, but not all of our successful applicants have prior research experience. Some of our students come to us directly from undergraduate programs, and others have worked in laboratories or in clinical positions before deciding to return to school. We also welcome applicants who have an interest in teaching in Biomedical Sciences, either as a career, or as a component of an academic position.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"universal-pad\">\n<h2>How to Apply<\/h2>\n<p><a class=\"news\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/gms\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> Graduate Medical Sciences (GMS)<\/a> at Chobanian &#038; Avedisian School of Medicine coordinates all graduate school applications. A common application form is used for all departments, so it is important to designate \u201cAnatomy &amp; Neurobiology\u201d as your department of interest on this form. There is also a place on this form to indicate whether you are interested in the PhD or the master&#8217;s degree. Please visit the <a class=\"news\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/gms\/admissions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Admissions<\/a> page for specific information on criteria and application information and directions.
