Deborah Bowen, PhD
Deborah Bowen is currently the chair of the Social and Behavioral Health Department at Boston University School of Public Health. Dr. Bowen is also a full Member in the Cancer Prevention Research Program of the Public Health Sciences Division of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. Her training is in Health Psychology. She has been the principal investigator of several NIH-funded grants involving breast, cancer, risk communications, dietary change, and other health behavior foci.

Judith Bradford, PhD
Judy Bradford is a faculty member at Virginia Commonwealth University, Director of Community Health Research in the L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs, Associate Professor in the VCU School of Medicine (Public Health), and Chair of the Health Policy Concentration in the Center for Public Policy’s PhD Program in Public Policy and Administration. has worked at the national level for more than 20 years to improve the methodological soundness of LGBT research, as a research scientist and consultant to Federal and state agencies. Since 1997, she has also worked with Fenway Community Health to expand its LGBT research program and to develop The Fenway Institute. She has a particular interest in translational research and developed an intervention based on patient navigation that proved efficacious in a 3-year demonstration study.

Mark Glickman, PhD
Mark Glickman, is an Associate Professor in the Health Services Department at Boston University School of Public Health. He is also a Senior Statistician at CHQOER. His recent statistical work includes developing models for explaining the genetic predisposition to late-onset diseases,latent variables models for measuring reaction time data in cognitive psychology experiments, and Bayesian optimal design for tournaments and competition. His work in health services included the determination of a plausibility index used to identify aberrant assessments of nursing home patients and facilities as a means of quality control, statistical modeling of automobile crash data for monitoring safety of airbags, and modeling physician treatment behavior for diabetes and hypertensive patients. Mark is also the co-editor of “Here’s to your Health” column in Chance magazine.

Al Ozonoff, PhD
Al Ozonoff, Ph.D, joined the Department of Biostatistics at Boston University School of Public Health in 2004. He is an Assistant Professor of Biostatistics. Dr. Ozonoff came to Boston University following a post-doctoral research fellowship at the Harvard School of Public Health. His training is in pure mathematics. He entered the field of biostatistics by applying geometric methods to the analysis of spatial data collected from syndromic surveillance systems.

Jennifer Potter, MD
Jennifer Potter is the director of the Women’s Health Center and Director of Women’s Health Education at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. She is recognized nationally for her educational contributions in the field of women’s health. Her major interests include communicating effectively with patients; performing a sensitive and thorough pelvic exam; providing comprehensive breast and reproductive care; assessing sexual satisfaction and addressing sexual problems.

Mairead Sullivan, M.S.W.
Mairead Sullivan is the Program Manager for the Healthy Survivor and the Sexual Wellbeing Studies. She recently graduated from the Boston University School of Social Work where she received an M.S.W. in macro social work. Mairead has been working in health care for over 5 years at Children’s Hospital Boston, The Boston Area Rape Crisis Center, and Fenway Community Health Center. Her interests include determinants of healthcare access in the GLBT population and gender based health disparities.
