As members of the BU and BMC community, we are expected to function as if everything is completely fine in our lives. Our jobs require us to be on the top of our game. However, an ill parent, an abusive spouse or a gambling problem can turn our world upside-down. It can affect many aspects of our lives, including ability to focus at work. Things like depression and anxiety hit most people at some point in their lives. For some, depression and anxiety are constant companions throughout their lives.
