Join us for a series of special Schwartz Center RoundsŪ exclusively for hospital staff, first responders and medical tent volunteers.
In the Aftermath of Violence:
Caring for Others, Caring for Ourselves
Professional caregivers come together to share experiences in caring for patients, families and themselves in the aftermath of the Boston Marathon bombings.
Led by experienced Schwartz Center Rounds facilitators, these confidential sessions will bring together caregivers from the healthcare organizations that cared for those injured in the Boston Marathon bombings to collectively discuss their experiences, how they have coped in the aftermath of this traumatic event, and what insights they have gained. The Schwartz Center Rounds are conducted by more than 300 healthcare organizations nationwide and allow caregivers to openly and honestly discuss the social and emotional issues they face in caring for patients and families. They result in caregivers sharing difficult issues with each other, feeling less stressed and isolated, and being more open to giving and receiving support,
Please RSVP. Space is limited.
You may attend one or more of these Rounds sessions.
