MIKE B. SIROKY, MD

Dr. Siroky is Professor of Urology at Boston University School of Medicine. He received an AB and MD degree from Boston University in 1970. Dr. Siroky has published extensively in the fields of neuro-urology, urodynamics, erectile dysfunction and vesicourethral physiology. He is the recipient of the Grayson Carroll award from the AUA, the Zimskind award from the Urodynamics Society and the Jack Lapides Prize. His current research interests are in erectile dysfunction and bladder ischemia.

Dr. Siroky was appointed Chief of Urology by the Director, VA Hospital, Boston in 1983. During the period following the merger of the Boston and West Roxbury Hospitals (2000-2004), he served as Associate Chief of Urology. Since 2004 he has again been appointed as Chief of Urology. Dr Siroky oversees all resident training and education which includes teaching in the operating room, conferences, clinics and on the hospital wards.
