What is allowed in the hood?
XGI-8 Anesthesia System:
- isoflurane-operated
- up to 5 mice may be induced in the XGI-8induction chamber
Isolation Chamber: For Immunocompromised Animals and Experiments with Bacteria:
An isolation chamber is available for experiments involving immunocompromised animals and is required for experiments involving bacteria.
Bacteria Experiments:
- isolation chamber will be used to induce and image mice
- isolation chamber will be autoclaved after use
