The BUMC Public Safety Department provides 24-hour, emergency response, uniformed patrols and access control to the Boston Medical Center (BMC) and the Boston University Medical Campus (BUMC) schools and facilities, including the National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratory (NEIDL).
The Department provides investigative services to BMC, and crime prevention strategies and safety awareness sessions to the entire BMC and BUMC community. The professional and dedicated men and women of the Department are committed to providing a safe, secure and welcoming environment to our patients, visitors, students, faculty and staff.
We are available to meet with student groups, departments, teams or individuals to discuss best practices to remain safe on and off campus.
