Animal Core
The primary objectives of this core to:
- Provide assistance with issues related to animal handling, husbandry, and genotyping
- Breeding and acting as a center for coordination of rodent sharing
- Offer proper techniques, proper guidelines and experimental conditions for the use of rodent models
- Offer technical support for and expertise in, mammary-specific and general surgical procedures
- Available to perform procedures in infectious disease models on the BUMC campus
- Serve as a center for coordination of tissue sharing among investigators
