Center for Voice and Swallowing

The Center for Voice and Swallowing at Boston Medical Center offers evaluation and treatment of speech and swallowing problems in Parkinson’s disease. Dr. Susan Langmore, a leading expert in the clinical care and research of these problems, works closely with Hadas Golan, MS/CCC-SLP and Michael J. Walsh, MS/CCC-SLP. Center clinicians are LSVT certified speech therapists. The Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) is an effective treatment to improve soft voice, articulation problems, facial expression, monotone speech, and improved ability to swallow in Parkinson’s.
