Education
Ms. Gormley received a Bachelor of Science in Human Science and Service from the University of Rhode Island and a Master of Social Work from the Boston University School of Social Work. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
Clinical Care
Ms. Gormley has worked closely with the Parkinson Community in Massachusetts. She has held roles in research and is a past Project Coordinator with the APDA Information and Referral Center at Boston University Medical Campus. She is experienced in group work and currently co-facilitates the Young Onset Parkinson’s Support Group in Newton, MA. Ms. Gormley has worked in both community and hospital settings. She brings experience in supporting families coping with a medical diagnosis and the impact this has on the whole family. Her practice includes patient and family counseling, support, and resource management.
