Emergency BU Alert BU Medical Campus OPEN Jan. 28, 2015 Boston University Medical Campus will be open Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015. BUSM classes will be held as scheduled. Staff should check with their managers regarding work schedules. Medical, PA and GMS students who are assigned to inpatient services or clinics are expected to be present, if possible. Students who are assigned to outpatient services should check with their course director or the policy at the clinical site. GMS classes are canceled. Staff should check with their manager regarding their work schedules. The Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine will follow normal school hours. All Patient Treatment Centers will be open for patient care and all classes will be held as scheduled. BU School of Public Health classes are canceled; SPH non-essential staff may telecommute. Employees who are part of the BUMC parking program should park in your assigned lot or garage. The Boston parking ban is still in effect. Continuing SPH Financial Aid Applicants

(2014-2015 Academic Year – Check Back on February 2, 2015 for Information About the 2015-2016 Academic Year)

Please note the following:

  • There is no application deadline for financial aid; however, students are encouraged to complete these two steps in advance of their bill deadline.
  • Students who completed the NeedAccess application for institutional aid the previous year do not need to complete it again.
  • Students who submitted tax information the previous year do not need to do so again.
  • SFS is not responsible for late fees that may accrue should students not secure ample financial aid prior to the bill deadline.

The 2 Step Application:

1. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov.

a. The FAFSA is required for federal aid. You may apply for federal aid only if you choose.
b. Our school code for the FAFSA is 002130.
c. Do not submit estimated tax information on your FAFSA as this may delay the processing of your financial aid award.
d. No parental income information is required.

2. Complete and submit the Continuing Student Application for Financial Assistance.
