APPLYING FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

EMPHASIS ON EDUCATIONAL LOANS: If you plan to attend the School of Public Health (SPH), you should plan on incurring considerable debt. The majority of your financial assistance will be in the form of Federal Direct Stafford Loans because of the limited availability of institutional funds. In addition, high-need students should expect to finance a portion of their costs with market rate educational loans.

Students should request financial aid information and applications as soon as they are admitted to SPH. Students, both new and continuing, are responsible for requesting their applications.

Application Deadline for Institutional Assistance
New Students – 5:00 p.m. February 26, 2010 or within 45 days of admission, whichever is later
Continuing Students – 5:00 p.m. April 16, 2010.
