International Center for Orthopaedic Education (ICOE)
The International Center for Orthopaedic Education (ICOE) is a free program of the American Orthopaedic Association that provides orthopaedic surgeons with a worldwide central facility for international exchange on postgraduate orthopaedic educational experiences in five different categories: observerships, clinical, research (both clinical and basic), teaching, and service. The ICOE collects and coordinates information from multiple organizations and provides a menu for those who are interested in volunteering and/or supplementing their orthopaedic knowledge, talents, and skills. By using the ICOE central facility applicants have a wider range of information, options, and alternatives for international educational opportunities.
