Dr. Basra earned his Medical Degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn New York. In 2007 Dr. Basra graduated from the orthopaedic residency program of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, in Newark New Jersey.  Dr. Basra’s interest in cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine surgery and trauma, led him to complete his spine fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
