Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students 2004

November 10 – 13, 2004
Boston University was well represented at the Annual Biomedical Research Conference held in Dallas, Texas in November. Dr. Kenneth Edelin, Dr. C. James McKnight, Ms Malissia Evans, and students Dallas Reed and Tony Rozier traveled to Texas to carry information concerning research and training opportunities at Boston University School of Medicine in the Division of Graduate Medical Sciences. Another student, Ms. Alexis Carrington, gave a poster presentation of the research she carried out this past summer in the lab of Dr. William Cruikshank. There were approximately 1500 undergraduate and graduate minority students in attendance and over 150 of them registered for our raffle of an iPOD.
