Below are a few different maps of the greater Boston area, to give you a good idea of what our city looks like, its proximity to other locations in New England, and the distances from one neighborhood in the city to another.

This is a basic layout of Boston, to give you a sense of the general location of each of the neighborhoods in the city. The boundaries between neighborhoods are not so well defined in reality – most neighborhoods bleed into each other at the edges.
The Boston University Medical Campus is located in the historic South End neighborhood of Boston, as shown on the map below.

This map is part of the Wikimapia, an atlas of the world with user-generated content added on top of it. This map lets you see what other people have picked out as particularly prominent in each section of the Boston area. Need to find out where a particular hospital, college, or bar is located? If it’s famous enough, there’s a good chance someone indicated where it is on this map.

Boston University Campus Maps
This map was put together to help indicate Boston University’s location in the city, as well as important places near each campus, like public transportation stops. You can see where all of the BU shuttle stops are in the area, as well as T stops, parking lots, and other items of interest.
