Boston University’s Office of Rental Property Management manages several university properties located near the Charles River Campus and one building, Harrison Court, located at the Medical Campus. Apartments are available to full-time graduate students, faculty and staff. Apartments are rented on a first-come, first-served basis and require a one-year lease. Most apartments include heat and hot water. Some furnished units are available. Limited parking is available for an additional fee.

As a full-time graduate student at Boston University Medical Campus you are eligible to apply for a position as a Resident Assistant. Traditionally, over 11,000 undergraduate students are housed in 150 residences located on the Charles River Campus of Boston University each year. Resident Assistants are generally expected to be available in the residences for service at least twenty hours a week including nights and weekends. Duties include upholding university policies, developing a healthy community, assisting students, and performing administrative tasks. Resident Assistants are selected based on their leadership skills and concern for fellow students. In turn for an academic year of service, Resident Assistants are given full room and board compensation. Interested students should contact the Office of Residence Life to request an application packet.

The Fisk House, located in Boston’s historic Back Bay neighborhood, offers housing to graduate women at Boston University. The building houses a total of sixteen residents with both single and shared rooms. The entire building is richly decorated with antique furnishings. Common areas include a large kitchen, living room, entryway, library, ballroom, and laundry area. Each bedroom also comes fully furnished. The fisk House is located within walking distance of Copley Square, Newbury Street, the Charles River, and the Boston Gardens. The building is operated by the Boston University Women’s Council
