Homestays
Homestays are unique housing options for students moving to Boston for between one and six months or so. In a homestay situation, a student (generally international) lives with an American family in their home. The student will usually have their own bedroom and bathroom, and access to the kitchen. Homestays are often substantially less expensive than other housing options, but they also offer a little less privacy.
