NIH Notification Letter
NIH sends a notification letter directly to Principal Investigators
when an application has been assigned an NIH number.
At that time this notification letter states the application is assigned to
a Scientific Review Group (SRG) and an Institute/Center for funding
consideration.
PLEASE NOTE THESE LETTERS MAY HAVE THE FOLLOWING “IMPORTANT NOTICE” REFERENCED ON THE TOP OF THE LETTER.
“IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please review the information on human and animal subjects research located at http://grants.nih.gov/grants/peer/hum_anim_notice.pdf as these requirements will affect the priority score on your application.”
