Bruker Reflex IV MALDI-TOF Mass Spectrometer
The Bruker Reflex IV mass spectrometry system was funded through an NIH shared instrument grant (S10RR15942, C. E. Costello, P.I.) and installed in January, 2001. It is used to meet the needs of a group of NIH-funded investigators on the BU Medical Campus.
This is a MALDI-TOF mass spectrometer equipped with a both UV and IR lasers, and uses a multiwell-format stainless steel MALDI plate. A Gilson sample preparation robot is available.
