A Bruker Daltonics Solarix 12 Tesla Fourier Transform Mass Spectrometer
This instrument was installed in January 2010, funded through a high end shared instrument grant (S10 RR025082, Prof. Catherine Costello P.I.)
A Bruker Solarix 12T FTMS system interfaced with a Waters NanoAcquity UPLC system and an Advioin Triversa Nanomate sample robot. This instrument is equipped with electron capture dissociation, electron transfer dissociation, and infrared multiphoton dissociation. This instrument meets the needs of a group of NIH investigtors for high end mass spectrometry analysis. Instrument time is divided between top-down and bottom-up proteomics, glycoproteomics and glycomics experiments.
