Summary of research interest:

My laboratory focus is on thyroid nodules, in particular the prediction of benign from malignant disease based on gene expression with an interest in identifying the roles, if any, these genes have on thyroid carcinogenesis.  My additional interest is in patient factors which contribute to disease recurrence, patient’s adherence to therapy with the goal of improving survival in patients with cancer.
