Summary of Interests:
My role is as a clinical educator within the department of medicine. I am primarily interested in improving quality of care in primary care practices particularly in systems delivering care to the underserved. My interest in quality has been through research focusing on registry use in ambulatory medicine. I also have interest in health disparities reduction where I have participated in facilitating small group discussions and lectures on health disparities. At the community level, I have partnered with the Haitian Health Institute at Boston Medical Center; the Harvard Family Van in trying to address health related issues through education and research; and HealthRoots an organization based at the Harvard School of Public Health in the whitepaper focusing on the role of international organizations in the spread of Cholera in Haiti.
