Summary of academic interest:

My main research interest is in the application of genomic tools in translational medicine focusing on lung diseases such as COPD and lung cancer. This involves adoption and customization of high-throughput technologies, such as microarray and next-generation sequencing to facilitate our understanding of disease mechanisms, to improve diagnosis and prognosis, and to help develop therapeutic agents for lung diseases.
