White Coat Ceremony and Welcoming Reception

The White Coat Ceremony and Welcoming Reception for the Class of 2013 took place on Monday, August 10, 2009 at Boston University School of Medicine. This event is annually sponsored by the BUSM Alumni Association and the Office of Student Affairs.

Remarks were made by faculty and deans of the school including, Phyllis L. Carr, M.D., Associate Dean for Student Affairs, Robert A. Witzburg, M.D. (BUSM ‘77), Associate Dean for Admissions, Karen H. Antman, M.D., Dean for the School of Medicine and Provost for Boston University Medical Campus, Linda Heffner, M.D., M.P.H., Professor and Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Sharon Levine, M.D., Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Kenneth Grundfast, M.D., F.A.C.S., F.A.A.P., Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, John I. Polk, M.D. (BUSM ‘74), Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, Jonathan Woodson, M.D., Associate Dean for Students, Diversity and Multicultural Affairs, Robert Beazley, M.D., Professor Emeritus of Surgery and Endocrinology, with closing remarks made by Jean Ramsey, M.D. (BUSM ‘90), M.P.H., Assistant Dean, Alumni Association.
