The School of Medicine Welcomes the Class of 2016
Members of the Class of 2016, along with their guests made of up of friends and family, gathered on the Talbot Green on Monday, August 6, for the annual White Coat Ceremony. After hearing from deans and faculty members of BUSM, students filed on stage by their Academy of Advisors group and were officially coated.
The ceremony included a speech by Assistant Dean for Alumni Affairs, Jean Ramsey ’90 who let the students know they would see signs of support from alumni during all four years at the school. She let them know about support programs like Bagels Before Exams and the E-Mentor program.
The ceremony concluded with the students reading the Hippocratic Oath.
