Undergraduate Teaching Opportunities at BUSM
The undergraduate Biomedical Laboratory and Clinical Sciences Program (BLCS) at BUSM offers evening courses year-round in a variety of scientific subjects. This is a joint program with Metropolitan College to enable students who typically work during the day and attend classes part-time in the evenings. This program seeks graduate students for teaching positions in introductory, advanced, and laboratory courses. In addition, there are also opportunities to serve as tutors and teaching assistants. CityLab Academy is a nine-month, two semester program for high school graduates seeking entry level employment in the biomedical field. This program offers courses in the fall and spring semester and needs instructors, teaching assistants, tutors and mentors. CityLab Academy students also spend two weeks in a medical campus laboratory during their spring internship and present their activities during a poster session in late spring. CityLab Academy also needs judges for this important program component. Information on this program can be found by consultiling the CityLab Academy website.
