| What I am currently working on in the LEN Lab: I have currently been transcribing and scoring data for the REM/NREM project. | |
| My experience working in the LEN Lab: In the LEN Lab, I have been able to work on a variety of projects related to Parkinson’s disease and sleep and I have acquired valuable experience that will allow me to continue to work in research after my graduation. Under the supervision of Dr. McNamara and Erica Harris, I was able to work on my own project: “Emotional Memory Processing in REM and NREM sleep states”. Working on this project as a full-time research assistant during the summer of 2008 has given me a greater insight into the ups and downs of the research world. In addition, Dr. McNamara and Erica Harris have always offered their support and help for academic and professional advancement. | |
